Clockwork

I have done some work on extending the run length of clockwork, aka wind-up, locomotives. This activity has been quite successful, I have increased typical run distance by at least a factor of four. The initial work, involving two prototypes, is described in the section below entitled A Clockwork ARM1G. That development work is terminated, with a successful, running, prototype locomotive, and a third prototype has been started. The work on the third prototype, benefitting from the ARM1G activities, will be described in another section in due course.
