On November 19, 2016, the portable track was set up in the cul-de-sac in front of a member's
house. Leveling techniques were improved and the track perfomed very well, with no derailments
reported. Even though there were only five in attendance, a good variety of engines was on hand.
|
With the neighbors' permission, the track was set up in the street. The weather was cool but
sunny, after a snow a couple of days before.

Marc Horovitz' vintage Roundhouse Dylan with a train of scratchbuilt coaches. Except for a
little steam leakage from one of the steam chests, this 30-year-old pot boiler performed
admirably.

Another shot of Dylan with its train. The cool, dry air provided great steam effects.

David Outteridge brought his ubiquitous "Schools" and train, which performed in its usual
flawless manner.

After some initial radio problems, Mike Horner (left) had a good run of his Roundhouse Lady

An unexpected visitor.
